FALLing in Love With Autumn

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is well! Truly love this time of year of sensational autumn colors (especially gorgeous dahlias that are in full bloom) and partaking in fabulous fall festivities of pumpkin picking and visiting farmstands on the spectacular East End of Long Island!

In Feng Shui Design, the Metal Element reflects the same energy as Autumn. This energy represents a time of completion, such as a harvest or as the time of evening when we start shutting down, as the sun begins to set in the West.

The characteristics of the Metal Energy in Feng Shui design can have varying shapes, colors (whites, pastels, metals), fabrics/textures, art and/or design in a space.

There are so many beautiful Feng Shui design elements that represent the Metal that can be implemented in a design plan to balance the Ch’i of a room and/or provide the remedy to create a space that can bring concentration and focus. Within the bagua, the Metal Element can enhance creativity and joy as well as helpful people and travel in one’s life.

Shown are just a few basic examples of design elements that represent Metal Energy. Some design elements also contain more than one energy of the Five Theory.
